In a nutshell: A new study by researchers at the University of South Carolina has shown that swimming cut the risk of men dying by about 50% compared to runners, walkers and sedentary peers. Data came fr0m 40 000 men in the Aerobics Center Longitudinal Study, over a 32-year period.
