An independent external validation and evaluation of QRISK cardiovascular risk prediction

In a nutshell: The objective of this independent study was to evaluate the QRISK score for predicting the 10 year risk of cardiovascular disease. The research found that QRISK offered an improved performance when compared with the Anderson Framingham equation. 274 general practices in England and Wales participated in the study.
