Toothbrushing, inflammation and risk of cardiovascular disease: results from Scottish Health Survey

In a nutshell: This Scottish Health Survey studied nearly 12000 men and women with average age of 50 years. Participants who self-reported never or rarely brushing their teeth were found to have significantly higher risk of a cardiovascular disease event.
