In a nutshell: Ralph L Sacco, Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, is the first neurologist to become President of the American Heart Association. In this address, he outlines 7 simple key factors and behaviours which support ‘ideal cardiovascular health’. He discusses the challenges, and the prevention strategies that need to be taken to build healthier nations, free from cardiovascular disease and stroke.
